Stitchers of Hope

Stitchers of Hope is a dedicated group of people who sew washable menstrual hygiene kits, pillowcase and t-shirt dresses, and boy’s shorts for kids all around the world. Why? The washable menstrual hygiene kits, which include reusable shields, pads, bikinis and more, allow girls to stay in school once they reach puberty. This allows them to continue their education. The dress that a little girl  receives could be the only new dress she will ever have. These dresses make the girls look like they are cared for, which protects them from being trafficked or abused. Sadly, trafficking and abuse, is very prevalent in the countries these dresses are distributed in. Thank You for working with us to help prevent such tragedy and evil from happening.

African girls with their new dresses!

How can you help? We have so many items needed. Would you considering donating any of the following?…

  • Monetary Donations are always highly appreciated.
  • 100% Cotton Material (Bright colors are best.)
  • Flannel Fabric (Flannel sheets work great!)
  • Nice Girls’ shirts (New or Like New and no t-shirts please.)
  • Nice non-see through pillow cases.
  • Sewing Machines.

WHERE DO THESE ITEMS GO?

Stitchers of Hope has been sending dresses, shorts, and hygiene kits to many countries in Africa and South America, plus Operation Christmas Child. Missionaries have brought them all to these countries, so no money donated has been used for shipping!

Donations: All money donated goes 100% to purchase supplies for making these items. Sewing skill and labor is donated with great joy by Stitchers of Hope volunteers.
